I headed out bright and early this morning to attend a pancake breakfast hosted by Delegate Lionell Spruill Sr. for the benefit of our three fine candidates in Virginia Beach: Bobby Mathieson in the 21st, Bob MacIver in the 82nd and Joe Bouchard in the 83rd.
It was good to see the rank and file Democrats come out in
support of these candidates. There were some folks there that I haven’t seen for a while, including Georgia Allen, the 2005 candidate in the 83rd, and Louisa Strayhorn, former Virginia Beach council member.
The breakfast was good, the company was better 🙂 Following the breakfast, the candidates and volunteers headed out for several hours of knocking on doors.
