2-0, baby!
I’m still not sure that Jason Campbell is the quarterback of the future – his accuracy worries me – but he did enough last night to lead the team to a win. When I read the writeup in yesterday’s paper, local writer Jim Ducibella picked the Eagles to win. And all of the members of the announcer team – save one – chose the Eagles. I was just hoping the Skins would stay close enough to give them a shot to win. They exceeded my expectations.
Next week, they play the hapless Giants at home. Can you say 3-0? 😀

DON’T JINX IT!
The world is turned upside down!
Michigan was 0-2 (now 1-2 baby!) and the Detroit Liedowns are 2-0.
Oh how much it was reversed!
Yahoo’s “experts” all picked Philly and only 16% of the fantasy pro-pick’em folks said the Skins would win. Doubters.
Go Skins!
So, Vivian… I live in Philly now and how sweet was it to walk into class this morning?
Oh yeah… insanely sweet. Especially since everyone except for the two other skins fans in my section and I were wearing Eagles jerseys yesterday. 😀 😀 Mwhahaha.
Vivian it is a long season and as mucj as I love you dear it will ne big D at the end holding the Eastern conference trophy. Sorry butdidn’t mean to break your heart.
Genevieve – that must have been awesome 🙂
GEM – yeah, it’s a long season, but I’ll take the Skins over the Cowboys any day. We’ll see what happens 11/18 in Dallas and 12/30 in Washington 🙂
Vivian- it’s such a wonderful feeling!! Undefeated!!! I think we’ll blow past the Giants next weekend too.
hopefully this means Gibbs has finally brought his magic back!
Maria
Maria, you are 100% right, I have the same feeling
I’m happy to see the defense has also made a return in a big way. The offense has only scored 36 points, but if that is all it takes to get to 2-0, I am confident that this year will exceed expectations.
And I am one of only two people in my pick’em league (14 people in the league total) to pick the Skins over the Iggles. Brought me back into a tie for first place there. Yeah, that made my day.
I think it’s too early to be too too optimistic, but there was a lot of good that came out of last night’s game. Still though, our defense gives up a lot, especially over the middle. Had Donovan been able to hit the broad side of a barn last night he would have passed for a lot of yards last night. Still, 2-0 is far better than I expected, I’ll take it!
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
You are going to jinx them!
