Another article in today’s Virginian-Pilot, this time about Senator Fred Quayle and his Democratic challenger Steve Heretick. Quayle accuses Heretick of violating campaign finance rules by not explaining a decrease of $1,890 in his account balance. Heretick says it is likely a clerical error and attacked Quayle for not paying over $30,000 in taxes.
Simple answer to both: hire yourselves decent accountants and you won’t have these problems.
