OK, so Monday is another tax filing deadline and I’m more than a bit under so this will be quick.
The candidates’ forum held in Bayview Wednesday night was a good opportunity for folks in the 87th House District and 6th Senate District to hear the candidates. The questions were provided to the candidates in advance so there were no real surprises. I’ll have more on this next week.

The Kiwanis Harbor Party yesterday afternoon was a lot of fun and the seafood was superb. Most of the candidates were there. They were given an opportunity to make a brief statement. I saw a lot of folks I hadn’t seen in a while.

Last night’s candidates forum at ODU was a good one, too. It was the first time I had heard some of the candidates speak. Ten candidates from Hampton Roads participated, representing the 78th, 82nd, and 21st House districts, plus the 6th and 13th Senate districts. Again, I’ll have more on this next week.
