Stall: “you’ve got the gays”

When I saw the post by The Shad Plank earlier today about Republican candidate Tricia Stall, my first reaction was “what a jerk!” Despite the best efforts of the Republican Party, their candidate still has a sharp tongue that they can’t control. What relevance does it have that some of John Miller’s many endorsements also include members of the gay community? Are gays not voters, too? I’ll bet Stall has just been waiting to use that line – and probably has done so privately many times.

Be careful what you wish for when you pull the lever for Stall. She’s a divisive candidate with a short fuse. The Republican Party has tried to make her appear acceptable but in Stall’s case, that is a bit like putting lipstick on a pig. I guess that’s why one of my Republican acquaintances from the Peninsula told me that he – and a lot of his friends – are voting for Miller.

I was still steaming about this when I got back to the Northam/Miller campaign offices after doing a lit drop. Someone there saw Stall’s comments in a different light, saying that it reminded them of high school and the things kids said to one another.

Yep, that’s it.

Stall’s acting like a 13-year-old (no offense to the 13-year olds who may be reading πŸ™‚ ) She doesn’t belong in the Virginia Senate.

Vote John Miller, November 6.

  1. Stall has no toleration for anyone that she deems to be “different” than she is.

Aside from her phony “no tax” pledge. hey I’ve still got a car tax, how are you going to do another tax promise?

Or her looney education stance, “I publicly proclaim I am against public funding of schools”, there is nothing to like about Stall.

The only one and intelligent person could possibly vote for is, John Miller.

  2. I checked with my 13 year old. She is offended by the comparison. She and her friends are much more mature than Tricia Stall. In fact, I think that my daughter would do a good job in the Virginia Senate. She will not run however. Even though you can serve in Congress without a high school diploma, I am insisting that she stay in school.

  3. I might not agree fully for the gay life style, but there are good people every where. if you are a elected offical you cannot just right off people within in your district with differant life stlyes

  4. Vivian,
My wife said the same thing. Trish stall is like a groupy with her cute little gang wanting everybody to believe like her. She is indeed acting way under the 13 you quoted however she is a dangerous little brat that needs to go away far away.We really need to send her packing on Election Day.
