Out early, back late

Well, I headed to Richmond early this morning (7:20am !) for the Women’s Legislative Roundtable pre-session meeting. Good stuff there – I’ll have a post about it later. And I’m heading out shortly to attend the NCDC Legislative Sendoff. So y’all be good and I’ll catch up later 😉

Couple of quick items:

  • New Senate chairs – note that all seven Democratic women in the Senate have committee chair(wo)man’s ships 😉
  • Health care was the topic of the day for the candidates in the 1st Congressional district special election.

  1. All seven Democratic women. Don’t forget Jill Holzman Vogel, who will take the place of JMDD as the Virginia Senate Republican Woman’s Caucus.
