This Sunday’s On the Record will feature reporter Mike Gooding and videographer Pierre Simmons talking about their trip to the Horn of Africa where 2,000 troops working under the Joint Forces Command in Suffolk are on a goodwill mission. On Christmas Eve at 9pm and on Christmas Day at Noon, WVEC TV presents Holiday Salute to our military personnel. The highlight of the program will be stories the two complied in Djibouti, Africa. Joining them will be Joe Flanagan, host of the Holiday Salute for the past 22 years.
In the other segment, Gooding, Patrick Terpstra and Janet Roach of 13 News will look back at stories they have covered over the past year.
