  • SB70 – sample ballots- colors assigned to parties (Howell)
  • SB82 – party affiliation on ballot for constitutional officers (Cuccinelli) – not one of my LA items but one I wrote about here and will be watching closely)
  • SB277 – allocation of Electoral College votes by popular vote (J Miller)
  • SB452 – reporting designated campaign contributions (Petersen)
  • SB508 – absentee ballot applications and procedures (Northam, Whipple)

  • SJR8 – property tax exemption for certain veterans (Puller)
  • SJR10 – property tax exemption for certain veterans (Reynolds)

I had not anticipated some to these bills coming up so soon. I don’t see any that should die in committee. All of these bills deserve to be heard by the full Senate.

There is an online petition that was just started on the restoration of voting rights. Head over and sign it.
