I’m getting a lot of hits from folks looking for the debate. It is on CNN and has just started.

A real brutal one, but i think Obama being on the offensive was good. Hilary gave as good as she got too. I think the headlines will be the back and forth, as well as Obama uncharacteristically coming out swinging. Finally, a debate!
drugs, race, slum lord, you think bill and hillary can play good cop bad cop with obama, for all you hillary supports is this the way you win an election keep going with the attacks they will comeback to bite and hand the white house back to the gop, thank you.
I am glad Obama stood up against the Hillary machine.
See, now Dems get to enjoy the attack machine the Clinton have waged on Republicans for years.
The Hillary Machine makes Rove look like nothing.
I read a great quote in the NYT times that said (paraphrased) “The old joke in DC used to be never get between NY Senator Chuck Schumer and a TV camera but now, to ensure you do not get hurt, do not get in between the Clintons and the White House”
Hillariy’s sense of entitlement is disgusting and her husband is losing it.
Well another analysis Jack could be that, should Obama be the nominee, dealing with Senator Clinton’s campaign could make him a sharper candidate and better prepared to address the Republicans. Politics, through my life, has always been the same and I doubt that it will change. They’re vying for the biggest job in America and name calling, record attacking, stretching the truth, are just a few of the tactics that candidates have been using to win the “prize” since history began (et tu brutus?). I don’t think that’s likely to change. And as long as I can remember, with every election the discussion is about “cleaning up the campaign process”.
We can’t continue to play in the sandbox like this for too long because the Republicans want to get out of theirs and into ours. And I’m just thinking that if, by chance, the Republicans get a candidate sooner than we get one, then our troubles will begin a whole lot sooner.
We’ve found that when Kerry and Gore played in the sandbox, the Republican cats covered them up with sand!
You are so right,
