The American Idol field has been whittled down to the 24 finalists. I have to admit that I’ve been a bit busy over the past few weeks so I haven’t seen most of these folks perform, except brief clips on last night’s show. There is a rocker girl and at least one rocker guy, so that makes for some interesting interpretations of the music. When it came down to the last two guys, I was sorry to see the little politician dude go as I thought it would be fun to have him in the competition. Nevertheless, others have said that this is the most talented class yet. I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.

I will hold off picking faves for a week or two, but I will!
I really thought that blond headed kid who dismissed the band for his second audition and then completely blew his song was going to get let through based on “spunk,” but I was disappointed. Now I’m not sure who the “Vote for the Worst” crowd is going to back. I’m down with the Irish girl, though. So I ask you now, tell me what would you do? If her hair was black, and her eyes were blue?
God I’m glad the strike’s over.
