Despite the results of Johnny Camacho’s poll, the AP reports that undecided superdelegates are not going to be swayed by the popular vote.
Most of the more than 100 undecided superdelegates who discussed their decision-making with The Associated Press in the past two weeks agreed that the primaries and caucuses do matter — whether it’s who has the most national delegates or the candidate who won their state or congressional district. But few said the primaries will be the biggest factor in their decision.
“I think it’s really important that we keep our eye on the prize, and the prize is the win in November,” said Gail Rasmussen, an undecided superdelegate from Oregon.
Yep, it’s all about winning. As it should be.
UPDATE: Take a look at these electoral maps. If the election were held today, Clinton would beat McCain, while Obama would basically tie him. h/t Howling Latina
Is there a sentence in there somewhere?
Anon is that the best you can do. do you not see periods in my statements. Is there a need to always be proper in your land. Do you curtsy the Queen? Do you bow at Bush’s feet? Since you cannot make out what I wrote due to lack of credible intelligence maybe I have to be more specific. How about this simple sentence: I vote Democratic because I can!!!
Gene, proper puntuation, “let’s” rather than “lest,” and some capitalization and spell checking would go a long way to showing yourself to be an intelligent individual whose opinions should be given consideration.
“however it seems to me that Anon E. Mouse when whoever it is questioned why I should get to vote for a Democrat. ”
Can you diagram that sentence for me? Where is the subject? Where is the verb? Is there a direct or an indirect object?
Pull yourself together, take a deep breath, and install Google Toolbar so you have a spell-checker. Then, perhaps, you will begin to make sense.
