Perfect timing: Clinton wins PA

Just got back from the Legislative Black Caucus event in Richmond (more on that later). Turned on the TV to catch the results and I see not only that Hillary has been declared the winner, but she is just starting to speak.

Great job, PA Democrats! Congrats to Senator Clinton!

  1. She swept the state everywhere outside of Philadelphia. Impressive indeed.
Someone predicted a Pennsylvania palindrome, 55-44 for Clinton. Too bad the combined total was not 99!

1 down and 5 or 6 more of the remaining 9 contest to go! Hillary doubles her 200,000 popular primary vote lead to 400,000.

It is time to step up and make a contirbution to HRC. Do it now!

  2. She was polling anywhere from 20-25 points ahead back on Super Tuesday. She wins by 10. She picks up 6-8 delegates. Cuts the lead to about 130? She’s still in debt. Although, this victory in PA will help the financial bottom line. She’ll lose NC and it’ll be close in IN. Bottom line…she still has to go negative to make Obama look unelectable.

  3. I heard she was outspent 2:1, but no matter. Because of the rather undemocratic rules of the party, those districts that voted most heavily Democratic in the last presidential election get more delegates. Naturally, these were the Black areas of Philadelphia and Pittsburg, where Obama did well. So while the vote was split 55-45, the delegates split will be closer to 50-50.

This brings up another issue. WHY was Clinton outspent so badly? Because Obama has a whole lot more money than Clinton does. When the supers make their decisions, they might very well take into consideration Obama’s fund-raising ability.

  4. It continues.
Those that are tired will get more tired
Those who are not worrying will still be not worried.

In the fall, all this will seem so unimportamt.

The economy will be so bad that today willseem like the recent good old times.

Be careful folks. somewhere some republican is schemeing to steal your money.

  5. If the Clinton’s are worth $109 million, why are they looking for your money to run?

She can spend as much of her own money as she wants to, in the tradition of Corzine and Bloomberg.
