No Kaine for VP…the repercussions would be too negative here in Virginia.
C’mon, Ian, it would be fun.
Leaving the weaker Republican candidate for 2009 isn’t a negative.
Weaker, yes. We were already behind in terms of unity, but then running as an incumbent, I think, makes even any candidate deficits.
Incumbency is nothing without name recognition.
Exactly.
Just wondering… IF, just if Gov. Kaine accepted the VP position who would succeed him as governor?
Lt Governor Bill Bolling
I suspect that LG Bolling’s name recognition is better than you all are giving him credit for – especially among Virginians who he thinks are inclined to vote for him.
Are the stories about him true? That’ there’s a lot of buyers remorse from progressives?
That depends on who you talk with, peter.
Brian – that also depends on who you talk with 😉
If his name ID is anywhere near McDonnel’s, he doesn’t have a whole lot to brag about.
What ever happened to Jack Kemp? He was being touted for this election back around year 2000, but it’s like he has gone underground?
