Hampton Roads biggest party tomorrow: Scott’s Labor Day Picnic

Congressman Bobby Scott hosts his annual Labor Day Picnic Monday afternoon. This event is the largest gathering of Democrats in Hampton Roads and is a political junkie’s dream 🙂 Already announced to appear are Governor Tim Kaine and our next Senator Mark Warner. I am told that Senator Jim Webb, soon to be the senior Senator from Virginia, will also be there.

Kick off the fall campaign season by heading to Newport News tomorrow.

When: Monday, 9/1, 3pm – 6pm
Where: 914 Shore Drive, Newport News
(rain location: Dochiki Club, 27th and Chesnut)

  1. I have it from a very good source inside the local Webb office 🙂 that the soon to be senior Senator will in fact be in attendance.
