MB was gracious enough to host last night’s watch party and he asked me to do tonight’s.
Tonight, by the way, is the night that the Norfolk chapter of Drinking Liberally meets. (6-8pm, The New Belmont). So let’s have a virtual meeting 😀 Like that gathering, we welcome liberals and non-liberals, drinkers and non-drinkers alike. Come back here about 8:30 (yeah, I know the speech will get started a bit later but we gotta get warmed up 😉 ), grab your favorite beverage, and let’s do some convention-watching.

And the GOP just sealed it – Palin’s the the VP nominee (I was kinda hoping she’d be the presidential nominee, what with having more executive experience than McCain . . .).
MB, that damaged goods comment is a bit misdirected, seeing how *I* remember that we’d already exchanged ‘the vodka is to me what whiskey is to you’ line a while ago.

I guess I might as well watch the RNC. Came in from cutting grass & the Giants were leading the Skins 7-0. After my shower, it was 10-0. And now it’s 13-0. Not good 😦
