According to PilotOnline, Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin will not be coming to Virginia Beach on September 18, as previously announced.
Maybe this poll scared her off?

The Wapost article stated that people were bussed in from all over the East Coast. Would you think there were enough people in NOVA to come to a rally for MsSame??
They were brought in on school buses. Some were from Woodstock Va which is in the Shanendoah Valley, a long way from Fairfax.

On NPR I heard that quite a few Palin fund raising appearances are going to be cancelled. Plans are for for McCain and Palin to campaign and appear together. The McCain campaign has discovered that Palin appearing will pack them in. It would be embarassing for John if his running mate appears before large crowds while/if he continues to have problems getting people to show up for his appearances.
