Mark Warner has agreed to a statewide televised debate with Jim Gilmore on October 3 from 7pm to 8pm. The proposal for this debate, to be hosted by WSLS-NBC 10 in Roanoke, was submitted to the campaigns in July. Yet to be determined are the details on the moderator and the media panel. WSLS will make the live feed available to any TV station what wishes to broadcast it.
Looks like I’ll get my wish to see Warner mop up the floor with Gilmore 😉 Those of you in the Fairfax area will have another opportunity to see these two debate when they meet at the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. That debate, to be held next Thursday, September 18 from 10am to noon, will be carried live by NewsChannel8.
Perhaps. Or perhaps Gilmore will mop the floor up with Warner.
Doesn’t really matter, though, if the latter occurs: certain denizens of the moonbatosphere would declare Warner the winner even if he dropped his pants, got down on all fours, and squealed like a pig.
The only ones dropping trow, bending over, and squealing like John McCain are Republicans, Mr. Young. How else can you explain anyone voting for Jim Gilmore?
It’s nice to know that there’s one person out there holding the line for Jim Gilmore even though most of the Republicans gave up on him a long, long time ago. I was starting to feel sorry for the guy.
Like I said, Mr. Frum.
And yes, “silence,” there are certain of us who keep our word. I voted for Bob Marshall in the convention, but am happy to support Jim Gilmore.
He’s certainly better than a lying four-flusher like Mark Warner.
Well, best of luck to both you and to him, then. If you work hard and make sure you focus your efforts on the endeavor, you might be able to prevent Mark from breaking 60%.
