That’s the title of an article in this week’s Portfolio, discussing this Thursday’s Kiwanis Harbor Party and Seafood Feast. I couldn’t have picked a better title myself 😉
Among the invited politicians scheduled to appear are Thelma Drake and Glenn Nye, both candidates for 2nd District House of Representatives, U.S. Senate candidate Jim Gilmore, Creigh Deeds, who is running for Governor in 2009, and all four Virginia Beach mayoral competitors.
Even though the article doesn’t mention it, an email from Joel Rubin confirms the attendance of two other 2009 gubernatorial hopefuls: Brian Moran and Bob McDonnell.
This is a really fun event, held on the Norfolk waterfront, and let’s hope the weather holds. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online or by calling 757-456-5212. The price includes all-you-can-eat crab cakes, fried fish, clams, oysters, scallops, and famous Harbor Party Clam Chowder, plus beer and wine.
