VB School Board: vote Erika Walker-Cash

A friend* of mine got me out of bed bright and early last Tuesday morning to attend a breakfast for Young Audiences of Virginia.  Among those in attendance was a young lady I had not previosuly met – Erika Walker-Cash – who is running for one of two at-large seats on the School Board.

I remembered that Walker-Cash was one of the candidates that The Virginian-Pilot endorsed, although they really didn’t have much to say about her.

Of the challengers, Erika Walker-Cash, a business law attorney and licensed clinical social worker, is the most qualified.

Oh well. I guess one sentence is better than nothing at all. (And certainly better than their not-so-clear way of endorsing Glenn Davis for council.)

Walker-Cash has compiled an impressive list of endorsements, including those of four School Board members. Her background and commitment to the children in Virginia Beach make her an excellent choice.  Vote Erika Walker-Cash on November 4. And keep an eye on this woman. I think this is just the beginning of a bright political future.
