I went to George Mason Sunday for a rally for Barack Obama with Hillary Clinton. I understand that there were about 3,000 people there. Below is a brief video clip of the crowd. (The VIP section was to the side of the stage, which is why I didn’t take more video.)
We arrived early and spent some time just mingling with the other folks gathered. Since GMU is in the 11th CD, Gerry Connolly was there, working the crowd. He also addressed the crowd at the beginning of the rally.
The campus also falls in Chap Petersen’s senate district and he was there as well. Brian Moran was there, along with his photogapher, so I hope to have some pictures soon. Always good to see folks I know from the area, and to be able to put names to faces of others I only know through email. I also got a chance to meet Sharon Bulova, the Fairfax County supervisor representing the Braddock district.
UPDATE: Here is another video on the event.

Don’t forget Mark Warner’s rally at ODU Monday at 11:30am at the Ted Constant Center at ODU.
I’m glad you could make it up to my alma mater. I definitely thought it was a good event and will be putting up my reaction to it later today.
What a class act Hillary Clinton is!
