Nye leading in VA-02

Democratic challenger Glenn Nye is leading incumbent Republican Thelma Drake. With nearly 63% of the vote counted, Nye has about a 3,500 vote lead. However, at this time, 56% of the precincts in Virginia Beach – which makes up about 70% of the district – are not in.

Nye has done well, though, by winning on the Eastern Shore, always a tough area for Democrats.

This race remains too close to call.
