According to The Virginian Pilot, Governor Tim Kaine has ruled out taking the position as chair of the DNC while he is serving as governor:
“I’m not interested in it as long as I’m governor,” Kaine said during a news conference.
Well, I guess that’s that.

One wonders if his response would be different if the Lt. Governor were a Democrat.
