The Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees of the Virginia General Assembly will hold a public hearing on the Governor’s proposed amendments to the 2008-2010 state budget, as follows:
When: Thursday, January 8, 2009, 12:00 noon
Where: Christopher Newport University, Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts (1 University Place, Newport News VA)
Those persons wishing to speak may register no earlier than 11:00am on the day of the hearing. Speakers will be taken in order of registration and will be asked to limit their comments to three minutes or less. Multiple speakers representing the same organization whould consolidate their remarks to reduce duplication. Persons unable to atten may comment in writing to the Chairmen, Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees, 10th Floor, General Assembly Building, Richmond VA 23219.
