The special election in the 81st House District is today. This seat became vacant when Terrie Suit resigned last October.
Polls are open from 6am to 7pm.
While the demographics of the district favor Republicans, stranger things have happened. So head out and vote for John LaCombe.

Speaking of special elections, there is another one scheduled for today in the 70th House District. This seat became available when Dwight Jones was elected mayor of Richmond. The lone candidate is Delores McQuinn, but as this article points out, folks still need to go to the polls today and vote.
