The House P&E subcommittee on Elections will be meeting Monday, January 19 at 7am, 5th floor East of the General Assembly building. Among the bills to be considered are two on bipartisan redistricting: HB1685 and HB1793. I understand that the agenda for this meeting was posted around 4:30pm Friday. So much for notice 😦
Redistricting reform was one of my legislative agenda issues last year and remains a primary concern of mine.
Also on the agenda are some bills related to early/absentee voting: HB1620, HB1621, HB1644, HB1894, and HB2110.
If you are in Richmond or can get there for the meeting, please do so.
