Super Bowl XLIII: who’s going to win?

The Arizona Cardnials and the Pittsburgh Steelers meet Sunday in the 2009 version of the Super Bowl. The sports books have the Steelers favored to win.  But if I were a betting person – and I’m not – I’d put my money on the scrappy Cardinals. After all, these guys shouldn’t even be here. Plus, I’d bet on the Cards for sentimental reasons – I happen to like Kurt Warner and his journey – from the Arena League to Super Bowl XXXIV MVP – is an inspiring one.

So, I’ll be rooting for the Cardinals. How about you?

  1. Okay, I’ll take the bait….

    Arizona 28
    Pittsburgh 16

This MAY be the score…if the Cards jump out to a quick lead they will win. I predict Fitzgerald has a HUGE game with 4 TD’s and ironically becomes the new Lynn Swann

  2. I’m hoping for an Arizona victory, if only because I’d love to see the one-sided know-nothing talking heads on TV be wrong again. I swear, if a team isn’t in the Northeast or Dallas, sportscasters don’t want them to win.

  3. I vote for the commercials to win again. My team isn’t there so it is irrelevant. As Duane Thomas said if this is the ultimate game how come they play it every year.

    Prediction:
    Steelers 21
    Cardinals 20

  4. “the one-sided know-nothing talking heads on TV” Uh, you mean, LIKE YOU?

Too much! Kirwin whining about “know nothings” on tv. The irony of it all!
