State Sen. Ken Stolle said Wednesday that he might run for Virginia Beach sheriff if incumbent Paul Lanteigne does not seek re-election this year.

Stolle, 54, said he also has been urged to run for Congress next year against Democrat Glenn Nye, the newly elected 2nd District incumbent.
The latter is what I’ve been hearing. The former was a surprise when I saw it in the paper. But given the paltry pay of state senators, I guess it shouldn’t be. According to the article, we should expect more information on this Friday.
Of course, staying in the Senate is also an option. (Stolle is two years into his current term.) It will be interesting to see what he chooses to do.

The only thing left for the broken VBRP and Stolle is Sheriff! When you take Stolle, his brother, Frucci and Kirwin, you have a recipe for “LOSE”! In fact, these 4 are the poster boys for “LOSERS” now! The proof is in the results!
