The Hampton Roads Center for Civic Engagement (HRCCE), along with its partners, Future of Hampton Roads, Hampton Roads Partnership, The Planning Council, and WHRO, will be hosting a civic engagement summit on Saturday, April 4 at the ODU Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center from 8:30am to 12:30pm (details on the flyer – click to enlarge).
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited so registration is required.
One of the guest presenters shown, Bob O’Neil, will not be able to make it. In his place will be the very capable Suzette Denslow. Denslow is the new Chief of Staff for the City of Richmond. She formerly served as Secretary of Education under Governor Wilder and recently served as Senior Policy person for Governor Kaine. She also was Deputy Director of the Virginia Municipal League twice and head of the Tennessee Municipal League.
This will be a good opportunity for those interested in helping to make a difference in our region. Head over and register today!
