Shad Planking quickie

I got videos of all three gubernatorial candidates in attendance. Once they get converted, I’ll post them.

It was chilly but the rain managed to hold off for most of the event. I got the chance to speak briefly with a number of electeds and candidates, including Brian Moran, Bob McDonnell, Jon  Bowerbank, Jody Wagner, Mike Signer, Steve Shannon, David Foster, Leslie Brownlee (wife of John), Dorothy McAuliffe (wife of Terry), George Allen (yes, that George Allen), Jennifer Lee (R candidate in the 80th House district) and John Cosgrove. I also spoke with Bobby Scott and Louise Lucas, in whose Senate district the event is held.

I ran into Jim Gilmore in the Shad Planking office where we both were picking up tickets. More on that later.

Somehow, I didn’t get a chance to speak with Bill Bolling or Ken Cuccinelli. Every time I saw them, they were surrounded with people.

Yes, Terry won the sign war. McDonald had a bunch of signs, too, especially further out on the road to Wakefield. But once in Wakefield, there was a McAuliffe sign every six inches. Reports are that he had 25,000 signs out there.

I’ll get up more tomorrow. For now, time to watch AI 🙂
