I attended the Norfolk Forum last night to hear the last of this season’s speakers, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, co-hosts of of the MSNBC show Morning Joe.
I don’t have much to add to the comments by David Campbell here. I’ve never seen the show but I certainly didn’t expect the schtick that substituted for a speaking engagement last night. I was sitting on the second row and can attest to what David calls a “public humiliation” of Mika by the arrogant jerk Scarborough.
The only good thing about last night’s performance was the announcement of the 2009/2010 series of speakers, which I twittered about, including T. Boone Pickens and Lou Holtz.
