The campaign of Jody Wagner has received another Congressional endorsement. This time, it is that of 3rd Congressional Representative Bobby Scott.
From the press release:
Said Scott: “I’m proud to stand with Jody Wagner in her race for Lt. Governor. As a long-time legislator in the Virginia Assembly and Congress, I have great respect for Jody’s deep experience as Treasurer and Secretary of Finance. I saw her work hand-in-hand with Mark Warner and Tim Kaine to straighten out the state’s budget, maintain our critical AAA bond rating, create new jobs, and invest billions more in education.”
This makes the third endorsement of the Democratic Congressional delegation. Previously, the campaign announced the endorsements of Glenn Nye (2nd) and Rick Boucher (9th).
You’d think the one seasoned legislator would know a republican when he sees one and not go for the switch and bait. Besides, hasn’t Ms. Wagner’s – um – optimistic budget projections caused enough problems? Nye is just not that bright, I didn’t really expect otherwise. Wagner has no record on her own, other than her appointments, or, as she calls it “my oppotunity to show everybody how smart my husband the doctor is.” Be careful of this woman, she is very, very dangerous.
