Thursday quickies

Honestly,  I can barely keep up 😦 Polls are coming fast and furious in the final days leading up to next Tuesday’s election. Today it is Suffolk University. Some interesting stuff in the numbers. Even The Washington Post comments on this poll.

FiveThirtyEight takes a look at the Virginia House of Delegates and what it means for the fall. Hint: the word is redistricting

Virginia Beach is thinking of canceling an event honoring former pro football player Bruce Smith in the wake of his recent arrest for drunken driving.  I dunno – the reason for the event – that he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame – hasn’t changed. And it could be a teaching moment.

Question: somebody want to clue me in on the latest rules regarding the use of photos of electeds in campaign lit? Used to be you had to get permission to use them – and if you used them without permission, they would ask you to remove them.

If there are no rules, I’m saving this one for later 🙂

Kaine, Paige, Warner, Scott

That’s all I got. Been a busy day and I’m headed over to the Moran VB HQ for some phone banking 🙂

UPDATE: And here is the Kos/Research 2000 poll, as Mark mentioned in the comments.
