Reading through the blogosphere after yesterday’s announcement by Del. Kris Amundson that she would not be running for re-election this fall, one would get the sense that Republican challenger James McConville has a chance to win this race. Well, I guess anyone has a chance – the question is how much of a chance. In this case, I’d say not much.
That’s not to say that Scott Surovell doesn’t have to work hard – he does. That’s not to say that he doesn’t need money – he does. But he would have to be a horrible candidate in order to lose this thing. And nothing indicates he’s going to be a horrible candidate.
