First, condolences to Norfolk Councilwoman Daun Hester on the loss of her brother.

And to Norfolk Circuit Court Clerk George Schaefer III on the loss of his father. From what I have been able to learn, the funeral will be held this weekend in New York.

Finally, to the family of Virginia Beach Democrat Phyllis Ander.  VB Dems has more on this remarkable, hardworking woman.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of this news. Especially Phyllis who was such a dedicated democrat and a very nice person. She will be missed!

  2. Phyllis was the backbone of the Virginia Democratic Women’s Caucus. Also one of the nicest person’s you will ever know.
