More polling numbers from PPP

Public Policy Polling has released more data from its Virginia poll, which, if you didn’t see yesterday, is available in this pdf.

In today’s release, PPP looks at the approval ratings of President Barack Obama, Governor Tim Kaine and Senator Mark Warner. Only the latter maintains his approval rating. Obama is at 42%, down from 48%, Kaine is also at 42%, down from 49% and Warner is at 56%.

This part of the polling also considers the effect of a visit from Sarah Palin for Bob McDonnell – 26% say such a visit would make them more likely to vote for him while 35% say less likely – and also a look at the birthers in Virginia. While 53% say that Obama was born in the U.S., 24% say no and another 24% are not sure.

Here’s the pdf on this.
