Serious question, do people over there really call that part of VA “Southside?” Never heard it called Southside when I lived there and, to me, Southside is a completely different area.
I’ve lived in this part of the state for all but 3 years of my life and yes, we differentiate between the Southside and the Peninsula. Not nearly as much as we used to, though, since the toll went off the HRBT.
Edit – thinking about this a little more – I know a number of organizations that have “South Hampton Roads” in their names. In fact, there’s even a Wikipedia entry on it 😉
Lets hope Kaine shows up on Sunday. He stiffed West on Tuesday night and didn’t show for his GOTV effort! Kaine should have done better! West is going to surprise a lot of people!
Now here’s the proof that you know little of what is going on: Kaine was sick Tuesday. Before you go saying negative things about someone, try asking the question first.
He did not look well at the rally at all.
I think he may have had the beginning of the flue.
