I imagine this will be a very stressful community meeting for Glenn Nye. Democrats are disappointed that he voted against legislation that would provide access to affordable health care to those who need it and the tea party activists will likely be protesting him simply because he’s a Democrat.
Yeah, it will. And it should be.
Sometimes it’s hard to do the right thing.
I went, and basically there were no teabaggers, just pissed-off Democrats. Probably 75% of the questions asked (it ended up being two questions allowed, not five, and only about 1/4 of the questions submitted got asked) were regarding his health care vote. He’s definitely got a big problem with the Democratic base.
Sorry I wasn’t able to be there. Yes, he has a problem with the base.
What a perfect time to schedule this!

I don’t need to go hear him to stroke a check for his opponent in the next election. He reminds me of Thelma Drake without the lipstick! He’d better suck up to those Republicans, ’cause we Democrats are mad as hell – and we won’t forget!!!
