The Norfolk Federation of Civic Leagues is hosting a candidates’ forum this Thursday, April 8, from 7pm to 9:30pm at Granby High School. The forum will be moderated by Joel Rubin and I understand all of the candidates have agreed to participate. The event is open to the public.
Elections for Norfolk Council will be held on May 4. Six of the eight seats, including the mayor’s, will be on the ballot. All but one – Ward 2, represented by Dr. Teresa Whibley – are contested races.
Come out and hear from those who would like to represent you, those who will be making the decisions that affect our every day lives, such as our real estate taxes, our water and sewage bill, and our schools.
