Residents of Roland Park and Sunshine Homes are launching a petition drive to overturn the decision of City Council that allows a developer to build a multi-family residential development at the intersection of Tidewater Drive and Roland Park Drive. Council voted Tuesday to allow the development, which includes 187 apartments, to go forward with certain zoning changes (see pdf for details).
Some 5,000 signatures are required to be collected in the next 30 days. The petition drive is being kicked off this evening at 7pm at the Community Services Board meeting room, located at 6411 Tidewater Drive, adjacent to the Roland Park neighborhood.
