The League of Women Voters of South Hampton Roads and the Peninsula are co-sponsoring congressional candidate debates (with ODU and WHRO) for the 2nd (Nye/ Golden/Rigell) and the 3rd (Scott, Smith, Quigley & Kelly) congressional districts. These debates will be televised on WHRO several times post-debate.
The 2nd congressional candidate debate is Saturday, October 9th at 7 p.m. at the Virginia Beach ODU Higher Education center, 1881 University Drive, 23453, (near the ampitheater).
The 3rd congressional candidate debate is Friday, October 15th at 7 p.m. at Hampton City Council chambers, 2 Lincoln St., Hampton.
