There is something seriously wrong with people in this country when someone’s head gets stomped on simply for exercising their right to free speech.Or is freedom just another word for nothing left to lose?

Actually guys if you would follow up on the story a little you will find that this demonstrator was tackled because she went after the candidate.

Violence is never the answer. Those initiating it need to go to jail.
There’s a difference between what your “crystal ball” (congressional candidate pun not intended) tells you her intentions are and what the stompers actually did do. One is actual & the other a “maybe”.
The person that initiates violence needs to go to jail. There is no exception
This is disgusting. Reasonable disagreement is one of the core parts of democracy. Lately we’ve had way too much unreasonableness on both sides-and this takes unreasonableness to a higher (or lower) level. The stompers need to prosecuted.
According to this article, the perpetrator will be charged with 4th degree assault, a misdemeanor.
One of the stompers was part of the Rand Paul campaign. A county campaign coordinator. Real classy.
