- Rep. Bobby Scott considering Senate bid. This ought to be interesting. I’m convinced, though, that Dems need to wait until after November to announce a candidate. Let’s not lose focus on the General Assembly races this fall. Besides, it’s be fun watching the Republicans beat each other up for a while before they train their sights on the Democratic nominee.
- Bob Herbert leaving The New York Times. Hopefully, after his book is done, he’ll wind up somewhere else. Hey Bob – All Politics is Local can use you 😉
- Norfolk CSB spends $359,000 on consultants, which prompted this editorial today. Is it time to replace the entire board and staff and start over?
- Race and redistricting. No, not my column – that one was Redistricting and Race. Note the arrangement of the words?
- One opinion on the Affordable Care Act. It’s been a year and the sky hasn’t fallen.
Have a great weekend!
