- John Edwards indicted, pleads not guilty. How far they fall! It’s been almost three years since I first became aware of what Edwards was up to. As despicable as his behavior was, the man’s a jerk, not a felon.
- Sen. William Wampler retires. Have I gotten too cynical to believe that he is just tired of the trips to Richmond?
- Jack Kevorkian has died. I wonder who will take his place?
- James Arness has died. I grew up watching “Gunsmoke.” He and Miss Kitty were like family.
- Unemployment rises to 9.1%.Even worse, the black unemployment rate inched up to 16.2%.
- Paul Revere warned … the British? Obviously, someone missed a history lesson or two 😉
