I happened to have been at a retreat at the Chesapeake hotel that was the Destroyers’ team hotel a couple of weeks ago. Running into Marty Schottenheimer, the team’s coach and general manager and the former coach of the Washington Redskins, was quite a thrill. Hopefully, this is truly a delay in the start of the season and not a cancellation, as I was looking forward to attending a game or two.

Sad. Marty is a good guy. As a long-time Browns fans, he brought us some pretty good memories. Wish we had him back.
