Rick James, the challenger to Algie Howell in the 90th House of Delegates district, is getting some notice – and some help. The latest is an email sent out on his behalf Wednesday by the Sierra Club.
The Virginia Education Association endorsed James as well and has been phonebanking for him.
The primary election is next Tuesday, August 23.

I would like to know Rick’s views on The 2nd amendment protections of the U S Constitution, How does he view illegal immiagration, The right of the people to form or join a union, He should talk about thing like that. Everybody running for office wants to talk about Education, Jobs, better pay for Teachers, Police, and Fireman. Is Rick going to be somewhere I can talk to him. I got his mailing in the mail the other day but it doesn’t even have a phone number where I can contact him and his web site just talks mentions the usual stuff like Jobs,Education, ect. without anything of substance about any of it. I would like to see a change but I need more informationon Ricks views on things that matter to all of us.
On the website I volunteered to work the polls tomorrow but I have heard from no one–no phone available–no contacts. Lack of communication does not bode well for Mr. James.
