Been so long since I put up one of these but it’s not because I haven’t run across some fun things to do; rather, it’s been a lack of time. So how about two of them?
First up: Back to School! This is a sample of questions on the 2013 New York State math tests, two each from grades 3 through 8. I’m happy to report that, as rusty as my math skills are – we accounting types mainly use basic math – I managed to get all 12 correct.
Do you like jigsaw puzzles? I do, so this Slate one on gerrymandered districts was right up my alley. Iowa is easy – wait til you get to the others.
