12 years: Remembering 9/11

91101Another year has passed but I still remember the horror of 9/11/01 as if it were yesterday. I gathered my thoughts on the fifth anniversary – and I really have nothing to add.

Statements have poured in from our representatives. I don’t agree much with Virginian-Pilot columnist Kerry Dougherty but she nailed it in her column today.

I saw this video on Facebook – and I think it’s worth sharing, to remember the time when all Americans were in agreement, when it wasn’t about left versus right, or Democrat versus Republican, but us against them.
