The Norfolk candidates’ forum tonight will go on as scheduled but without the participation of current mayor, Paul Fraim. I am told that the other two candidates for mayor will be present, along with the two candidates vying in Ward 5.
In addition, there will be a forum this Friday for Newport News candidates. The Peninsula Pan-Hellenic Council is hosting one at City Center, Water Works room. The forum for school board candidates will begin at 5:30pm and the one for council candidates will begin at 6:45pm. All candidates have confirmed their attendance.
