I, along with some 3,100 other Clinton supporters, just completed a conference call with the Senator, Campaign Chairman, Terry McAuliffe, and some of the fundraising staff. (Sorry - I didn't catch all the names.) A couple of quick things: All said that Clinton was outspent by about 3:1 in Pennsylvania Since 10pm last night, Clinton … Continue reading HRC conference call: $10 million raised since last night!

PA primary wrapup
Hillary Clinton won PA last night by 10 points, a significant margin. A look at map of where she won was as revealing as anything about the broad nature of her support that has played out time and time again. All in all, Democrats are divided on the impact of the continuing and protracted campaign for … Continue reading Campaign hurting the party?

Perusing the Norfolk Compass Sunday, I ran across a four-page supplement about the budget. What caught my eye was a proposal to have a Budget Advisory Group. It is proposed that the City appoint an advisory group (membership to be drawn from residents, business employees and management) to review City business practices related to: Outreach … Continue reading Norfolk Budget Advisory Group
Superdelegates acting super
Despite the results of Johnny Camacho's poll, the AP reports that undecided superdelegates are not going to be swayed by the popular vote. Most of the more than 100 undecided superdelegates who discussed their decision-making with The Associated Press in the past two weeks agreed that the primaries and caucuses do matter — whether it's … Continue reading Superdelegates acting super
