LaKisha Jones just nailed it. Put the rest of those females on American Idol to shame. A tremendous voice, great presence. LaKisha is definitely the one to watch for the rest of the show. What a treat! Only one thing: she needs to lose the HIB. Technorati Tags: American Idol

Can the snow be far behind?
The circus came to town today. And it seems that every time, or rather, a lot of the time, the snow comes, too. I like snow - but I'd just as soon it pass us by. Thankfully, it looks like there's none in the forecast.

Elect Roemmelt
One of the folks I had a chance to chat with at the JJ Dinner was Bruce Roemmelt. Reading thru the Lefty Blogs feed, I ran across this post, which jogged my memory a bit. Of course, … Continue reading Louise Lucas: dress for success
Nora the piano-playing cat

According to the article: It would strictly define public use … Continue reading NRHA put out of business?

NLS has posted a list of the Alexa rankings of Virginia bloggers, for whatever it's worth. The Daily Whackjob looks at the fate of the two Edwards bloggers and raises a question: Is this a generation thing (so in twenty years most people will forgive statements on blogs), or are bloggers too edgy, too irreverent, … Continue reading About blogging and bloggers
